Signs of Problem Gambling

  • Do you spend more money on gambling than you can afford to lose?
  • Do you feel the need to gamble with increasing amounts of money to get the same feeling of excitement?
  • Have you tried to cut back on gambling but found it difficult to stop?
  • Do you feel restless or irritable when trying to reduce or stop gambling?
  • Do you gamble to escape problems or relieve feelings of anxiety, guilt, or depression?
  • After losing money gambling, do you return another day to try to win back your losses?
  • Have you lied to family members, friends, or others to hide your gambling?
  • Has gambling jeopardised or caused the loss of a significant relationship, job, or educational opportunity?
  • Do you rely on others to provide money to relieve a desperate financial situation caused by gambling?

BetStop — National Self-Exclusion Register

BetStop is the National Self-Exclusion Register, a free service provided by the Australian Government. It allows you to self-exclude from all licensed interactive (online) wagering services in Australia with a single registration.

When you register with BetStop, all licensed Australian online wagering providers are notified and are required by law to close your accounts and refuse to open new ones for the duration of your exclusion period.

You can choose to exclude yourself for a minimum period of 3 months up to a lifetime exclusion.

Setting Limits

We provide several tools to help you manage your gambling activity and stay in control. Setting limits before you play is one of the most effective ways to gamble responsibly.

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly maximum deposit amounts. Decreases take effect immediately; increases require a 7-day cooling-off period.

Time Limits

Set session time reminders and daily play time limits. Receive notifications when your session approaches the limit you have set.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum loss amount per day, week, or month. Once reached, you will be unable to place further wagers until the next period.

To manage your limits, sign in to your account and visit your Account Settings. If you need help adjusting your limits, please contact us.
